IN ANTICIPATION OF THE 2016 OLYMPIC GAMES WE CREATED A BRAND THAT PROMOTES THE SPIRIT OF RIO. THE INSPIRATION FOR THE BRAND WAS DRAWN FROM A MIXTURE OF THE REGION’S CULTURAL HERITAGE ICONS, ARCHITECTURAL STYLING, ITS PEOPLE, ITS VIBRANT COLOUR AND ITS PASSION AND LUST FOR LIFE. INITIALLY DESIGNED TO ENDORSE BID COLLATERAL WITH THE ABILITY TO BE EXTENDED AS A CAMPAIGN ACROSS A WIDER RANGE OF APPLICATIONS WITH A BRAND STATEMENT OF 'THE SPIRIT OF RIO, FEEL IT, LIVE IT, BREATH IT'.
